Raipur: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee on July 19 hoped a negotiated solution to the vexed Ayodhya issue would be found in an atmosphere of goodwill.

Addressing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national executive, he defended the party's resolution on Ayodhya and said it would help in creating an atmosphere congenial for finding an amicable solution to the issue.

He said constructive suggestions, comments and reactions to the resolution would be welcome provided these come with a positive mindset.
