Raipur: In a bid to gear up the party for next year's Lok Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)
on July 20 outlined a 25-point programme that included asking minorities to join the party by explaining
to them vote bank politics of "pseudo-secular parties" and maintaining "good relationship" with Sangh
Parivar.
"Mission-2004-Action Plan", released after the conclusion of three-day meeting of BJP national
executive, talked about mobilisation of workers and gearing up party machinery at all levels with clear
division of work among office-bearers.
The party decided to reach out to minorities, explain to them vote bank politics of pseudo-secular parties
and invite them to join BJP.
It said BJP would maintain good relationship with other nationalist organisations (Sangh Parivar) and
have frequent interaction with them.
While focussing on political and social expansion of the party, BJP said it would maintain good
relationship with friendly parties and would not have any sort of debate on alliances.
The party said it would build massive movements to confront the Congress, Left and its allies on
people's problems wherever possible.
