Last action on procuring AJTs finalised: Fernandes

New Delhi: Government on July 24 announced in Lok Sabha that it had "finalised the last action" on acquiring Advanced Jet Trainers (AJT) for the Indian Air Force (IAF).

"The AJT proposal is now before the Cabinet Secretariat. The last action on part of the Ministry (of Defence) has been finalised," Defence Minister George Fernandes said during Question Hour.
