Pak groups tried to break into sensitive systems

New Delhi: Regular attempts have been made by Pakistani cracker groups to break into computer system of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research, Nuclear Science Centre besides other highly sensitive data offices, the Lok Sabha was informed on July 30.

However, these attempts have not been successful, Minister of State for Atomic Energy and Space S B Mookherjee said in a written reply.

He said measures, including isolation of critical systems from internet, special security and security audit, have been put in place to meet the cyber menace.
