Tuesday, July 1 2003 17:59 Hrs (IST)

Ambala: Defence Minister George Fernandes, who faces a continuing Opposition boycott in Parliament over the Tehelka issue, on August 1 sought to be dismissive on the matter.

"Tehelka will die its own death", he said when asked at a press conference as to how he intended to tackle the situation arising out of the Opposition boycott.

He said much importance should not be given to the matter.

Opposition has been boycotting Fernandes in Parliament arguing that he should not continue in office till cleared in the Tehelka tape allegations.
