New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on August 6 reacted cautiously to the Supreme Court ruling on strike by government employees saying it needs to be studied.

"The Supreme Court judgement that government servants have no right to strike needs to be studied and also we have to see what is the status of government servants in countries like China and Russia," party spokesman V K Malhotra told reporters.

He said the judgement has to be studied in detail before any stand can be taken on the issue.
