Thursday, August 7 2003 14:49 Hrs (IST)

Surat: A local court on rejected the revision application filed by Umra police seeking 14-day custody of Sunanda Shetty, mother of actress Shilpa Shetty and prime accused in the alleged extortion case involving the underworld, official sources said.

However, District and Sessions Judge K M Vin instructed Sunanda to be present before Umra police for interrogation as and when required by August 11, the sources said.
