New Delhi: British envoy Rob Young on August 7 condemned the terror attacks in Jammu and Kashmir and urged the world community to take concerted action to eliminate the scourge.

Referring to the recent terrorist strikes, including the August 7 grenade blast in Srinagar which claimed the lives of two Border Security Force (BSF) personnel, Young said, "We look forward for concerted action by all countries to remove this scourge."

Young, who had a 30-minute meeting with Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani, said "Britain has always condemned terrorism in all its forms".

Asked about his meeting with Advani, he said bilateral and regional issues were discussed, apart from the issue of terrorism which "is always on our agenda".

Young replied in the negative when asked whether sending of Indian troops to Iraq was also discussed at his meeting with Advani.
