Guj cops to probe contents of slain LeT chief's laptop

Ahmedabad: A Gujarat police team will visit Srinagar to probe the contents of laptop and satellite phone used by Manjhoor Zahid Chaudhari, operational chief of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT), who was gunned down in the valley last week, Anti-Terrorist Squad sources said on August 10.

Chaudhari, reportedly the publicity in-charge of the LeT, had "some papers" among his belongings which was recovered after he was gunned down at Budgam district and some contents in Urdu mentioning of the "success of the Akshardham temple operation" in Gandhinagar on September 24 last year.

Two armed militants had killed 31 people including three securitymen when the temple was under siege for an entire night.
