Militants vow more attacks on US troops in Iraq

Dubai: Militants claiming association with a variety of Islamist groups, vowed more attacks on US-led
occupation troops in Iraq while condemning the car bomb blast outside the Jordanian Embassy in
Baghdad, according to a video aired by the Dubai-based Arabic TV on August 10.
The attack on the Embassy, which killed 14 people and wounded more than 50, was an act of sabotage
carried out by spies and traitors to undermine the resistance to the occupation, said one of at least five
gunmen appearing on the video.
The hooded militants claimed to be in contact with a variety of organisations called "White
Flags," "Muslim Youth" and "Mohammed's Army" in Baghdad, Fallujah to the West, and Baquba North of
the Iraqi capital - cities where US troops have regularly come under attack.
Guerrilla warfare is the only way of liberating the homeland, the group said. They chided "turbaned"
men, a reference to Muslim clerics, for failing to declare "jihad', or holy war, against occupation
forces.
The statement contained a final warning to foreign countries against sending troops to Iraq to operate
alongside US forces.
