Kerala govt to hold talks with parties on Marad

Thiruvananthapuram: Kerala Chief Minister A K Antony on August 11 said the government would again
hold talks with all political parties on the issue of rehabilitation of Muslim families who had fled from
Marad in Kozhikode district after the May 2 carnage that claimed nine lives.
Replying to a submission by V K C Mammad Koya (Communist Party of India – Marxist) in the Assembly,
he said informal talks with Opposition parties were going on. Steps would be taken soon for
rehabilitation of the families, he said.
