Srinagar: A little-known militant outfit, al-Mansoorian, claimed responsibility for the improvised explosive device (IED) explosion in Bandipora in North Kashmir, in which 31 people, including five Border Security Force (BSF) men and two local cops were injured on August 13.

A spokesman of the outfit identifying himself as Abu Ahakir rang up a local news agency on telephone claiming responsibility for the blast and also threatened to intensify attacks across Kashmir valley.
