New Delhi: A meeting of Opposition leaders on August 13 night decided to unitedly fight the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to remove the "anti-people" government led by the party at the Centre.

"We have decided in principle to fight BJP till the end," Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav told reporters after a dinner meeting of Opposition leaders hosted by Communist party of India (CPM) leader Somnath Chatterjee.

The meeting, attended among others by Congress President Sonia Gandhi, CPM veterans Jyoti Basu and Harkishan Singh Surjeet and former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda, heard Gandhi emphasising that there were no two opinions among the Opposition parties in fighting BJP.
