Friday, August 15 2003 11:03 Hrs (IST)

Patna: Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) international general secretary Praveen Togadia, who arrived in Patna from Mumbai by a service flight to participate in the Independence Day celebrations organised by VHP, was packed off to Delhi soon after his arrival.

Togadia was even not allowed to come out of the LNJP International Airport and was made to board the same flight to Delhi by the Patna district authorities.

Earlier, the Patna district administration had banned all the programmes of Togadia and clamped section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) apprehending breach of peace in Patna sub-division area during his visit.
