Jammu: In the second such incident in three days, militants beheaded a villager in Rajouri district of
Jammu and Kashmir for refusing to guide them around in the area, official sources said on August 17.
A group of foreign mercenaries barged into the house of Mohammad Amin in Kakora village on August
16 night and asked him to accompany them.
When Amin refused, they dragged him out of the house and took him to the outskirts of the village
where they beheaded him with a sword, the sources said.
Earlier, one shopkeeper Abdul Karim was beheaded by militants in Surankote area of Poonch district on
August 14 for refusing to accompany them, the sources said.
Militants have killed nine people in the past one week in the Rajouri-Poonch belt for refusing to follow
their diktats.
The ultras also set ablaze two houses in Poonch on August 16 night charring to death 15 buffaloes, 15
goats, three cows and an equal number of bulls. No human loss was, however, reported.
