Mumbai: Actress Pooja Bhatt got married to a 39-year old hotelier, Munir Makhija, family sources said.

The marriage took place in a temple in Goa on August 16, the sources said.

Both Pooja and Munir were going steady for the last four months. Pooja met him during her first directorial venture, 'Paap', they said.

Pooja's father, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, could not attend the wedding as he was preoccupied. However, her mother attended the ceremony.

Pooja will continue to work in films after marriage, the sources added.
