Riyadh: Saudi police has arrested 21 terror suspects and seized large quantities of arms and
ammunition in a raid at a house in the Southern province of Jizan, a newspaper reported on August
16.
Ten of those arrested are Saudi citizens while the remaining 11 are Bangladeshis, believed to have
been working for a local company and staying in the same building, the daily quoted security officials as
saying.
About 93 Bazooka rockets and 50 hand-grenades were seized in the raid, carried out by more than 200
members of the security forces close to the border with Yemen, the daily said.
A number of firearms, including machine guns, large quantities of ammunition, chemical substances,
detonators and at least three military uniforms were also seized.
One of the Saudi suspects is a security man, the paper said. The raid was met with no resistance as the
suspects were apparently sleeping.
