Blast in Baghdad UN Hqrs; several killed

Baghdad: A huge explosion rocked the UN headquarters in Iraq's capital city of Baghdad on August 19.

Several people are believed to have been killed in the bomb blast that ripped through the building that housed the UN headquarters, a police officer told reporters.

Rescue operations were going on to pull out several people still believed to be trapped under the debris, said the officer.
