India, S Africa finalise text of extradition treaty

New Delhi: Giving a boost to bilateral ties, India and South Africa on August 21 finalised texts of an Extradition Treaty and Mutual Legal Assistance on Criminal Matters.

The texts of the agreements were firmed up during meetings of official delegations, External Affairs Ministry spokesman told reporters. The agreements are likely to be signed during the state visit to India by President Thabo Mbeki.
