Islamabad: Politicking on 'Ram Nam' and attacking a mosque is out of the question - that is if you ever
see chief of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and former chief minister of Bihar Laloo Prasad as the Prime
Minister of India, says the leader himself.
While talking to Doctor Amir Liaquat Husain, the anchorperson of Geo TV programme 'Border Line' in
which the topic was 'If you were the prime minister', Laloo's conversation had a generous smattering of
Hindi metaphors, according to 'The News'.
He said, "There exists a bond of love between the people of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh and they
desire to live together.
I would turn these three countries into one if I could. We should understand it well that unity is power.
And we have come to Pakistan with a mission of love and unity."
Stressing on the need of non-violence in this hour, he emphasised on it being the only policy of bringing
Pakistan and India closer.
"We have made an attempt to this end. Let us see how much we have succeeded," he added.
Leader of Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal, Hafiz Husain Ahmad, who also participated in the programme, said
differences would continue to aggravate with contradiction between acts and words. He further
responded to Laloo's standpoint saying, "Mosques in India should be protected in the same manner as
they protect the Hindu temples there".
