Security officer at Polish Embassy hurt in stabbing

New Delhi: A Polish posted as security officer at the Poland Embassy in New Delhi was injured critically on August 23 due to stabbing, police sources said.

Jack Skipivzepa (40) sustained knife injuries at around 14:45 hours (IST) at the Mission in Chanakyapuri area, the sources said.

He was rushed to a private hospital and has been admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), they said.

Though police has not yet been informed by the Embassy about the incident, reports suggested the injuries were self-inflicted, they said.
