New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on August 24 asserted there was no "threat" to the stability of
its ruling coalition with the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in Uttar Pradesh though there were differences
on certain issues.
"There is no problem in the BJP-BSP alliance. The Chief Minister has spoken to me and she would be
coming to meet the BJP leaders after her party's national council meeting," party president M Venkaiah
Naidu told reporters before emplaning for Chennai.
State BJP in-charge (Prabhari) Kalraj Mishra said, "The coalition government is doing well. There is no
threat to it nor would the BJP seek dissolution of the Assembly."
