25 detonators recovered on railway tracks in Nasik

Mumbai: Hours after the twin bomb blasts in Mumbai, which left 46 dead and over 143 injured, 25
detonators were discovered inside a tunnel between Kasara and Gatpuri near Nasik on August 25,
halting rail traffic on Central Railway.
The detonators were spread over a 125 km stretch and were discovered at around 7.30 pm (IST),
according to railway police.
Trains running on the route, including Mangla express and Panchavati express were temporarily halted
on the tracks, following the discovery, railway police sources said.
Bomb disposal squad has been alerted and the team was expected to reach the spot soon, senior
railway official D S Rathod said.
Meanwhile, Central Railway has given the clearance for trains to resume onward journey and was
awaiting clearance from Railway Police, which is patrolling the tracks.
Railway officials said the train traffic was expected to resume in an hour's time.
