High alert in Gujarat following Mumbai blasts

Ahmedabad: Security has been put on high alert in Gujarat following the blast in Mumbai, official sources said in Gujarat.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi had also asked the police to maintain high vigil in all sensitive areas, religious places, cinema houses, sources added.

At least 29 people were killed and over 100 injured in two separate bomb explosions in the busy areas of Mumbadevi and Gateway of India in South Mumbai on August 25.
