PM condemns Mumbai blasts; blames terrorists

New Delhi: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee strongly condemned the blasts in different parts of
Mumbai on August 25 and said they were caused by terrorists.
Voicing shock at the tragic loss of innocent lives, Vajpayee conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the
families of those who lost their loved ones.
The Prime Minister also wished speedy recovery to those injured in the blasts.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani will be visiting Mumbai on August 26 for an on-the-spot
assessment of the situation following the twin bomb blasts.
He is scheduled to go to the two spots where the blasts occurred and also visit the injured people in
hospitals, informed sources said.
Advani will leave for Mumbai immediately after attending the BJP (Bharatiya Janata party) Parliamentary
Board meeting in New Delhi.
