Mumbai blasts plunge SENSEX by over 130 points

Mumbai: The benchmark of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) crashed by over 130 points in the wake of two blasts that rocked South Mumbai on August 25.

The SENSEX, which has been on a roll in the recent past, lost a whopping 139.14 points to be quoted at 3985.98 at 1.30 hours (IST) after going past the 4150 levels early in the day.

The Nifty also tumbled by 48.90 points to around 1261.05 after nervousness gripped the local bourses.
