'ASI has found evidence of temple existing at site'

Lucknow: The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) has reportedly concluded that evidence of an ancient Hindu temple had been found at the disputed site in Ayodhya, according to the lawyers representing one of the Hindu parties.

In its report submitted to the Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court, which was opened on August 25, the ASI has said that "evidence of the existence of an ancient temple of North Indian art had been found at the disputed site," said lawyers representing Hindu sides.
