3 children among 7 injured in blasts in Pune
Tuesday, August 26 2003 11:55 Hrs (IST)

Pune: A day after twin car bomb blasts in Mumbai claimed 50 lives, an explosion occurred in a house at Yerawada area of the Pune city early on August 26 in which seven persons, including three children, were injured, police said.

The blast, which ripped apart the roof of the house, created panic in the area, they said, adding it occurred possibly due to a leaking domestic gas cylinder.

The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital and investigations into the incident were in progress, police said.
