Sonia urges all parties to unite against terrorism
Tuesday, August 26 2003 18:34 Hrs (IST)

Mumbai: Congress President Sonia Gandhi on August 26 urged all the political parties to come together to fight the menace of terrorism and said she had instructed Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushilkumar Shinde to take abundant precautions to ensure that such blasts did not occur again.

Speaking to reporters at Gateway of India, where a blast occurred on August 25, Sonia said the terrorists reportedly came from outside and they should be caught as soon as possible and prosecuted.

She was accompanied by Shinde, Minister of state for Home Rajendra Darda, Congress leader Ambika Soni and other party leaders.
