Powerful blast in Srinagar; two civilians injured

Srinagar: Hours after commencement of the inter-state council meeting in Srinagar, a powerful explosion rocked the city this evening (Aug 27) injuring two civilians, official sources said.

The explosion occurred in the vicinity of the main BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) office and its bang was heard in the entire city at around19:00 hours, they said.
