Jammu: Militants on August 29 night ambushed an Army convoy killing one jawan and injuring 10, including a girl, in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, police sources said.

The convoy came under fire and grenade attack at Krishnaghati, about 200km from Jammu, on August 29 evening and one jawan was killed on the spot.

Nine jawans were also injured of whom the condition of two was stated to be serious, the sources said.

The girl Heena, who was near the site of the attack, was also wounded, they added.
