SC notice to Mayawati, UP govt on detention of MLA

New Delhi: Supreme Court on August 29 issued notice to former U P Chief Minister Mayawati and the
state government on a petition filed by UP Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Atik Ahmed,
challenging invocation of National Security Act against him and his detention under that provision.
