Mumbai: One compartment of the Dadar-Amritsar Express train derailed early August 31 morning near Lasalgaon in Pune district disrupting rail traffic in the Bombay-Pune route, Central Railway sources said on August 31.

No casualties were reported when the sleeper class compartment of the Amritsar-bound express derailed between Lasalgaon and summit stations at around 05:55 hours (IST), Railway sources said.

While trains bound for Pune were disrupted, those coming to Mumbai have not been affected, they said.
