Slain JeM chief Gazi Baba's personal diary recovered

Srinagar: A personal diary of Gazi Baba, 52 kg of RDX, a satellite phone and a large quantity of
ammunition were recovered during searches in the Jaish-e-Mohammad hideout at Noorbagh-
Qammerwari where the outfit's chief operations commander and four other militants were killed, a police
spokesman said on August 31.
Besides the personal diary of Baba, 52 kg of RDX, four anti-tank rifle- grenades, 20 rifle-grenades, 11
hand-grenades, one under-barrel grenade- launcher, 318 rounds, a pistol with two magazines, 16
electric detonators, a satellite phone, five packets of explosives, two wireless sets, two kg of liquid
chemical, one improvised explosive device (IED), six batteries and a JeM letter pad were recovered
during search of the encounter site, he said.
However, bodies of three militants, claimed to have been killed along with Gazi Baba and another
militant, were not recovered so far, the spokesman said.
Bodies of Gazi Baba and another militant were recovered from the site of the encounter on August 30.
