One jawan hurt in Pakistani troops shelling in J&K

Jammu: Pakistani troops on September 1 shelled mortars bombs and opened fire in Poonch, Rajouri
and Jammu sectors of Jammu and Kashmir injuring one jawan, official sources said.
The troops from across the Line of Control (LoC) fired mortar bombs from 5.30 am (IST) on September
1 morning in Kalal, Baba Khour, Kalsian, Bhawani, Dhargloon, Jallas, Balakote, Jangard and Mendhar
areas of Poonch and Rajouri sectors, the sources said.
One jawan was injured in Pakistani shelling and later hospitalised in Baba Khour area, the sources said,
adding Indian troops retaliated.
"The exchanges were still on when reports last came in from the area," the sources said and added
there were no reports about damage caused to other side.
Pakistani rangers also fired from small arms along international border in R S Pura, Samba and
Ramgarh areas today without any casualty, the sources said.
