New Delhi: An important meeting of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Nirman Uchadhikar Samiti and Marg Darshak Mandal will be held in New Delhi on September 15 and 16 to deliberate on the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) report on excavations carried out at the disputed site in Ayodhya and chalk out a plan for a decisive action on the Ram temple construction issue.

About 300 saints are likely to converge in New Delhi to deliberate on the report and how it has enthused Hindus all over the country, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) media in-charge Sharad Sharma said in a statement on September 8.

The saints will discuss on taking a decision for Ram temple construction as the report has established the presence of a "structure beneath the site where the Babri mosque once stood," Sharma said.

Senior VHP leaders including Ashok Singhal, Pravin Togadia and Giriraj Kishore are personally in touch with leading saints in this connection, he said.

The meeting will also take stock of the progress in the Ram Raksha Sutra programme and discuss the issue of terrorism, Sharma added.
