Mulayam Singh Yadav to seek trust vote today

Lucknow: The newly installed Mulayam Singh Yadav government in Uttar Pradesh would seek a vote of confidence in the state Assembly on September 8.

Governor Vishnu Kant Shastri had asked Yadav to prove his majority on the floor of the House within 14 days of his being sworn-in on August 29.

Yadav government enjoys support of 241 members in the 403-member House.
