New Delhi: Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee said the September 8 expansion of the Union Council of Ministers was the "last" one he was undertaking.

"Now, there will be no more expansion. This is the last," he told reporters at Rashtrapati Bhawan after the induction of Mamata Banerjee and Gingee Ramachandran into his ministry.

He was replying to a question on whether he proposed to induct more at a later stage.
