Kolkata: Justice Mukherjee Commission of inquiry into disappearance of Netaji, said on September 16 that the DNA test of the tooth of one 'Gumnami Baba', taken possession by the probe panel from his Faizabad ashram long back, had been done at the Central Forensic Laboratory, Hyderabad.

''We have got the report of the test, but it has not been made public. A second DNA test of the same will be conducted in the Central Forensic Science Laboratory in Kolkata soon,'' Justice Mukherjee told reporters after hearing the deposition before the probe panel, in Kolkata.

The Commission earlier said that the report of the second handwriting expert regarding comparison of the handwritings allegedly of 'Gumnami Baba' of Faizabad with admitted specimen handwriting of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose had been received by the probe panel on July 23, 2003.

''The specimen handwritings of Netaji and the first bunch of documents containing a number of questioned handwritings allegedly of 'Gumnami Baba' have been made over to the third handwriting expert on August 28, 2003, for necessary comparison of those two sets of handwritings,'' it added.
