Army foils infiltration bid; four ultras killed

Srinagar: Army foiled an infiltration bid along the line of control in Kashmir Valley, killing four militants in the frontier district of Kupwara, an official spokesman said.

The security forces eliminated the militants while they were trying to cross over the LoC in the wee hours, the spokesman said.

However, he did not give any details about the identity of the slain militants or the amount of arms and ammunition recovered from their possession.
