BSF jawan ends life; no suicide note found

Jaipur: A Border Security Force (BSF) jawan, posted on the border with Pakistan, shot himself dead with his service rifle in Barmer district of Rajasthan, police said on September 19.

Jai Singh, a resident of Haryana, ended his life by shooting himself with his LMG rifle near Gadra road on September 18, police said.

No suicide note was, however, found near the scene, they said adding he was found dead by another jawan who was to replace him on duty.
