Advani castigates Pak for harbouring terrorists
Tuesday, September 23 2003 21:54 Hrs (IST)

Nagarnar (Chattisgarh): A day after a Pakistan Minister admitted presence of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim in Karachi, Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani on September 23 lambasted Islamabad for harbouring such people and said it has failed to defeat our soldiers and is now using terrorism to create problems in the country.

"India from the beginning has been talking about the presence of these people in Pakistan and the admission by the Pakistani Minister yesterday (September 22) only confirms the same," he said while addressing a public rally.

Asserting that Pakistan had suffered defeats thrice at the hands of Indian soldiers, Advani said now the neighbouring country was using terrorism to kill innocent people and create trouble in the country.

Asking the crowd not to raise anti-Pakistan slogans, Advani said that if India remained strong and stable, enemies would get a befitting reply.

Home Minister of Sindh province of Pakistan Aftab Sheikh had recently said Dawood's network extended from Mumbai to Karachi.
