New Delhi: Maintaining the heat on militants, Army on September 23 said 10 terrorists were killed in the ongoing flushing out operations in the Kashmir Valley since September 22.

An Army spokesman said in New Delhi two Pakistani mercenaries were killed in Kupwara district early on September 23 morning and another in the adjoining Baramulla district.

He said Army operations were also on in South Kashmir where three terrorists, all Pakistani nationals, were killed after a fierce four-hour gun-battle.

The spokesman said a terrorist each was killed in Budgam and Anantnag districts.

He said one militant and a terrorist guide were killed in Mahote area of Poonch when an ambush as laid on a group of militants crossing the line of control (LoC).
