Vajpayee's rebuff to Musharraf 'tragic': Pak
Friday, September 26 2003 10:55 Hrs (IST)

Islamabad: Pakistan on September 25 described as "tragic" Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee's rebuff to President Pervez Musharraf's suggestion for an "action plan" to resolve the Kashmir issue and asked India to reconsider its stand.

Reacting to Vajpayee's speech at the UN General Assembly, Pakistan's permanent representative to UN Munir Akram told Pakistani TV channel Geo over phone from New York that it was a "tragedy" that Vajpayee has rejected an "action plan" proposed by Musharraf to resolve the differences between India and Pakistan in his speech at the UNGA.
