Top US, Indian hospitals tie up on cancer research

Houston: MD Anderson Cancer Centre, University of Texas, is tying up with leading Indian cancer
research centres in Delhi and Mumbai to further the treatment and research of cancer in India.
Thanks to the efforts of the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce of Greater Houston (IACCGH), a
delegation headed by M D Anderson's president Dr John Mendelsohn is visiting India from this week.
During this visit, Dr Mendelsohn will sign the "Sister Agreement" with All India Institute of Medical
Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi and Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH), Mumbai.
Celebrating over six decades of "Making Cancer History", UT MD Anderson Cancer Centre is ranked as
one of the top two cancer centres in the US and is the world's most respected centres devoted
exclusively to cancer patient care, research, education and prevention.
