Lord Paul to pay a fortnight long visit to India

London: Lord Swraj Paul, NRI industrialist and British Ambassador for Overseas Business leaves London on September 29 for Delhi on a fortnight-long visit to India and Bangladesh.

During his stay in Delhi, Lord Paul is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the President A P J Abdul Kalam and meet K C Pant, Planning Commission Deputy Chairman and Co-Chairman of the UK-India Round Table and Union Minister for Disinvestment Arun Shourie and the Law Minister Arun Jaitley.

He will also attend the Ramlila Celebrations in the capital on October 4 and 5.

Lord Paul, who was recently appointed on the Board of the London Bid for 2012 Olympics will meet the Sports Minister Vikram Verma.

In Bangladesh, Lord Paul will address the 49th meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentarians organised by the Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce in Dhaka on October 8.

Lord Paul will address the Young Entrepreneurs of the Indian Chambers of Commerce in Kolkata on October 13 before returning to London from Mumbai the next day.
