Pak needs to be paid back in the same coin: RSS
Sunday, September 28 2003 20:05 Hrs (IST)

Chandigarh: Claiming that anti-India activities by Pakistan and Bangladesh were posing a grave threat to the country's security, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) on September 28, said that it was high time that India should pay back in the same coin and start playing the same game in Sindh which Pakistan is playing in Kashmir. "First thing to make Pakistan realise about the dangerous games it plays in Kashmir is to pay it back in the same coin. India should start the same game in Sindh which Pakistan was playing in Kashmir," RSS chief K S Sudershan said in his address in Chandigarh on the second and concluding day of the seminar on "Integrated Management of National Security". Sudarshan said that Pakistan establishment knows it fully well that its existence will be in danger if relations are normalised with India. "We need to take some harsh steps and adopt a pro-active policy," he said. The RSS chief said that Bangladesh was also being used by Pakistan for its anti-India activities. "A large number of infiltrators are being pushed into our territory and it is a matter of serious concern. Hindus living in Bangladesh are also being forced to flee and now they have been reduced to just seven per cent of the population as against 33 per cent when Bangladesh became free from Pakistan," Sudarshan said. He also said that India must adopt a pro-active policy and target Hindu-dominated areas in Bangladesh and help carve out a separate state for them. PTI
