Bypolls: Sebastian Paul of LDF wins from Ernakulam

Kochi: Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate Sebastian Paul won from the Ernakulam Lok Sabha constituency defeating his rival, M O John (Congress-United Democratic Front) by a margin of 22,134 votes.

Out of the total votes polled 7,30,727, Paul could muster 3,35, 310 votes, while UDF's John could garner only 3,13,176 votes.
