Indian team dedicates Asia Cup to Jugraj Singh

Chennai: The victorious Indian hockey team on September 29 said it has dedicated the Asia Cup to
internationally acclaimed penalty corner specialist Jugraj Singh, who was recovering from multiple
fractures sustained by him and presently admitted in Batra Hospital in New Delhi.
Disclosing this, Indian Hockey Federation secretary Jyothikumaran, told reporters, "The victorious
members of the Asia Cup winning team has dedicated the Cup to Jugraj Singh."
"We are going to meet him along with Federation president K P S Gill and other officials tomorrow
morning with the Cup. We are grateful to the young boy for inspiring our players every day including
yesterday, before we took to the final match against Pakistan. We all pray for his coming back to the
hockey field at the soonest."
