Mumbai: Share prices resumed on a firm note with the benchmark crossing 4,400-mark at opening
session on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on September 29 on sustained buying by Foreign
Institutional Investors (FIIs) and operators.
The BSE-30 share sensitive index opened higher at 4,392.87 and moved in a narrow range between

points and 25.17 points on September 26.
Cement and Steel stocks remained in the limelight on continued buying by operators.
Top heavyweight and petro-chem giant, RIL, remained the favourites of institutional investors and was
quoted remarkably higher, aiding the SENSEX rise.
